A Day In The Life of SHAREBASE

Enterprise File Sync and Share (EFFS) is defined by Gartner as “a range of on-premises or cloud-based capabilities that enables individuals to synchronize and share documents, photos, videos, and files across mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablets and PCs. Sharing can happen between people within or outside of the organization.” EFFS can increase productivity and collaboration of employees, but the organization must maintain security and control over the data being shared. This has been a weakness of well know options such as DropBox.
ShareBase by Hyland allows organizations to maintain ownership of the data and control over the entire process. When roles change or a person leaves your organization, rights and permissions can easily be revoked and transferred. Documents, files, videos, and more can be shared with coworkers or people outside of your organization. Employees have the ability to not only share information, but define how it is being shared, how long it will be available, and what the users can do with the shared information; such as view only, print or save.
