This week, Aaron Wert takes us on a tour of the Production Printing and Document Services facility at our corporate office in Middletown, PA. Aaron has been a valuable Document Services team member and has recently been promoted to Team Leader of the department. He oversees internal printing projects as well as the various other services offered by our team, like secure shredding, document conversion and facilities management programs.
Although this service is reserved for internal Phillips projects and contractual customers, we have a wide range of options for printing and finishing. We offer an electronic upload system that makes it easy for customers to send us their production requests. From their the customers can select options from types of paper to types of finishing; such as laminating (up to 42 inches), posters, foam board mounting, UV coating, specific size requests, spiral binding, tape binding, saddle-stitch binding, and perfect-binding.
Other than Corporate Printing Services, what else does your team do?
The Document Services team offers printing, scanning, shredding, and storage. Our scanning services are adapted to the customer’s needs; we offer on-site and off-site scanning of documents that need to be kept for years to come. Our mobile shred team will come to you and offer the highest level of security for your professional and confidential materials. We also provide document storage to help clean up your office. Our warehouse offers top of the line security to prevent your confidential documents.
Tell us more about Conversion Services.
With conversion services, you can be assured that your documents will be safe and secure while we convert them into electronic files for you to access from either an internal network or external drives/disks. We have completed a wide range of projects that have consisted of wide format scanning, preparing the files for scanning and then again for storage. We have done projects both at our facilities and at the customers locations.
What kinds of tasks are completed by your team members stationed on-site at a customer's location?
All of the above services are typically offered when a customer requests an on-site services. We have done printing and scanning at customers’ offices when requested. Currently, we operate the printing facilities inside York City School District and Youth Advocate Program. We have also finished scanning projects on-site at Cumberland Valley School District, Verizon Wireless, Metro Bank, and Lancaster Intermediate Unit.
